Kiran Rao shared a picture with her ex-husband and actor Aamir Khan as they went on a road trip together with their son Azad Khan.

Aamir Khan’s ex-wife and director-producer Kiran Rao has recently joined Instagram where she gives an unfiltered look at her life. On Sunday, she took to her Instagram story to share photos with her ex-husband and actor Aamir Khan and their son Azad Khan as they went on a road trip. Kiran shared a series of clicks of her son Azad and a family photo.

In one of the pictures, the trio can be seen happily posing together as they go on a road trip. They were also seen posing with their dog. Sharing the click, Kiran wrote, “Road tripping with Sundari.”

In the click, Kiran was seen dressed in a beige sweater and cargo pants while Aamir opted for a fur jacket and jeans, and their son Azad wore a blue t-shirt and pants.

Kiran Rao was recently seen actively participating in Aamir’s and his first ex-wife Reena Dutt’s daughter Ira Khan married her longtime boyfriend and gym trainer Nupur Shikhare. Kiran had shared photos from the celebrations on her social media account.

Aamir Khan and Kira Rao parted ways in 2021, ending their 15-year-long relationship but they are co-parenting thier son Azad and have also been working together.

On the work front, Kiran Rao’s next directorial is Laapataa Ladies and the film is backed by Aamir Khan. The film’s trailer is reportedly scheduled to be released on January 24.

As per a report by Pinkvilla, Kiran Rao’s comeback film as a director is slated for a release in March this year. The film is produced by Aamir Khan. The comedy-drama Laapataa Ladies was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2023 and received a standing ovation.

The film is situated in rural India in the year 2001 and stars Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam, and Ravi Kishan in pivotal roles.

A co-production of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, Laapataa Ladies is based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami and is scheduled to release in theaters on March 1, 2024.
