A total of 83.75 per cent students cleared the Higher Secondary examination successfully last year that was declared on June 8, 2018.

Also, we hardly have any network connection in the village, my focus never shifted to social media platforms,” he said.
Rakesh Dey who topped the examination from the Humanities stream has secured the fourth position. Rakesh Dey is from Sainthia Town School in Birbhum.

Shovan who appeared in the NEET examination this year, said he aspired to be a doctor. "I have appeared for the NEET exam this year. I will take admission in the medical college according to my rank. If I could not perform well, I will not take admission."
Topper Shovan Mondal, who hails from Katdigha village, scored 100 in Bengali, Maths and Chemistry, 99 in English, 99.5 in Biology and Physics.
"After my brother secured first position in Test, I hope he will do well, but we never expect he got the sixth position. My brother did not get to know about his performance as he is appearing for Joint Entrance Advanced (JEE Advaned) today. I will convey his performance after the examination gets completed at 5 pm," said Swarnajit Podder's elder brother.
Swarnojit hold the sixth position with 490 marks securing 98 per cent. The topper is a student of Baranagar Narendranath Vidyamandir

Out of 137 students in the merit list, 37 are female students. The examination this year was held between March 26 and March 13. The results have been declared within 74 days after holding the examination.
This year, 86.29 per cent students cleared the examination successfully. Last year the pass percentage was 83.75%.

Srijita Ghosh has secured the eight position with 488 marks. Srijita is a student of Bethune school.

Candidates can also get their results via SMS free by registering their roll number and mobile number on exametc.com.
The percentile of a student will be calculated by dividing the number of examinees who have scored less than that student by the total number of candidates appeared in the examination and then multiplying the result by 100, said an official of WBCHSE
West Bengal Board will be releasing the result of Class 10th examination on May 25 at 10 am. Students will be able to check the same at wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in. From this year, Higher Secondary marksheets will contain performance percentile. According to an official, "To give a fair idea to the students about their position in comparison to other students the council has decided to introduce it from this year apart from other features in the marksheets."
The results of WBCHSE 12th HS examiantion will be declared on Monday, May 25 at 10 am. The results will be available at the official websites, wbchse.nic.in, wbresults.nic.in. The students will get the marksheets on the same day. “All the heads of Higher Secondary Institutions or their authorised representatives are requested to collect HS mark-sheets and other relevant documents from their respective Distribution Camp from 10.30 am onwards on that day and issue the same to concerned candidates on the same day,” the official release mentioned.
