WBCHSE Board HS Result 2024: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) declared the HS (Uchcha Madhyamik) exam results today. The students can check their scorecards at the official website – wbchse.wb.gov.in.
The WB Higher Secondary exam result will be available at education.indianexpress.com.
To check their WB marksheets, higher secondary students will have to keep their registration number/ roll number handy. These numbers are mentioned on the admit cards of students. The WB HS pass percentage is 90%.
WBCHSE HS results were declared on May 8 at 1 pm in a press conference. However, the marksheets will be uploaded at the official website — wbchse.wb.gov.in — after 3 pm.
Following this, the original mark sheet, pass certificate and related documents will be distributed among the schools or heads of the institutions a few days after the result is declared on May 8.
Last year, Class 12 WBCHSE recorded an overall passing percentage of 89.25 per cent. A total of 7,27,807 students had passed. A year before that, a total of 88.44 per cent candidates (6,36,875 students) cleared the Class 12 exams, out of which 90.19 per cent were boys and 86.58 per cent were female students.
Students who score between 100 to 90 will be given distinction, A grade will be awarded to those who get 89 to 70 marks, A/ First Division to students who get 69 to 60 marks, B / Second Division to those who get 59 to 50, C/ Third Division to those who get 49 to 34 marks, and the students who score 35 and below will be given D/ Improvement.
A total of 7.4 lakh students had registered for the West Bengal HS exams 2022. Of which, over 96 per cent of the students appeared in the exams. A total of 636875 students were declared pass, and the overall pass percentage was recorded at 88.44 per cent.
