To clear the WB Madhyamik examination, students must achieve a minimum score of 33 per cent. Students who are not satisfied with their scores can apply for result scrutiny after the declaration of results.

This year, 9,84,753 students, including 5,55,950 girls, took the WBBSE Madhyamik exam conducted between February 10 and 22 at 2,683 centres across the state.

A total of 66 students have secured the top 10 positions in the state. While as many as 11 students are from Bankura alone, seven students are from Birbhum, Malda, Purba Medinipur each. Six students are from Hooghly, Purba Burdwan each, five are from 24 PGS(S), four from Uttar Dinajpur, three from Paschim Medinipur, 2 from 24 PGS(N), Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, Dakshin Dinajpur each and one student each from Kolkata and Nadia.

WBBSE last year as well had announced the WB Madhyamik results on May 2. The pass percentage last year was 83.61 per cent. Chandrachur Sen from Cooch, Behar topped the board exams with an exceptional score of 99 per cent. In 2023 WB board Madhyamik result, the overall pass percentage was 86.15 per cent. Shyamapriya Guru stood first with 98.86 per cent. The result in 2023 was declared on May 19.

The WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2025 is declared within 70 days after the exams end, the president of the Ad-hoc committee, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) said at the press conference to delcare the result. The Class 10 Madhyamik exams got over on February 22.
The WBBSE result press conference begins. The president of ad-hoc committee of WBBSE is declaring the WB board Madhyamik results on May 2 in the office of the West Bengal Board, Nivedita Bhavan, DJ-8, Sector-II, Salt Lake, Kolkata- 700091. The president and other members are now announcing the results.
WBBSE announced class 10 board results on May 2 last year with a pass percentage of 83.61 per cent. Kalimpong became the best performing district in West Bengal with an overall pass percentage of 96.26 per cent. Chandrachur Sen from Cooch, Behar was the WB Madhyamik topper with an outstanding score of 99 per cent. The results were declared on May 19 in 2023 with an overall pass percentage of 86.15 per cent. Shyamapriya Guru topped the board exams with a score of 98.86 per cent in the same year.
