The Directorate of Medical Education, West Bengal, has cancelled the physical stray vacancy round from the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) medical and dental counselling. The West Bengal NEET UG counselling process will now consist of three rounds – round 1, round 2 and round 3.

The minimum marks required in respect of PWD candidates as per NMC and DCI regulations, in the qualifying exams in physics, chemistry and biology taken together shall be 40 per cent instead of 50 per cent, the official statement said.
