UPSC IES, ISS 2024: 132 candidates shortlisted for interview. (Express Photo/Representational Image)The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on August 21 announced the results for the Indian Economic Services (IES) and Indian Statistical Services (ISS) written examinations 2024. Candidates who appeared for the written exams held from June 21 to 23 can now check their results on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
A total of 132 candidates—41 for IES and 91 for ISS—have been selected to proceed to the interview or personality test phase. The UPSC has released the roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates in a PDF format.
The official notice states, “The candidature of these candidates is provisional subject to their being found eligible in all respects. The candidates would be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claims relating to age, educational qualifications, community, benchmark disability (where applicable) etc. at the time of the Personality Test.”
Selected candidates will soon need to fill out the Detailed Application Form (DAF), which will be available on the UPSC website. Candidates are required to first register themselves before filling up the DAF and submit it along with scanned copies of the relevant documents.
The UPSC further added, “In case any or all the required original documents in support of his/her candidature for the Indian Economic Service /Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2024 he/she will not be allowed to present himself/herself before the PT Board and no TA will be allowed.” The interview schedule will be released shortly on the official website, and the exact date will be communicated to candidates through an e-summon letter. The commission has also emphasised that no requests for changes in the date and time of the personality test will be entertained.

Step 5: Search for your roll number and download the PDF for future reference.
