UPMSP UP Board Results 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Parishad (UPMSP) will soon declare the results for Class 10 board exams 2023. The exams were conducted from February 16 onwards. Once released, students can check their score at the official website of the board — upmsp.edu.in.
A total of 31,16, 487 candidates appeared for the matric exams this year, according to the data released by the state board. The UP board has eventually improved its pass percentage over the years and is expected to cross 90 per cent this year.
Last year, the UP board recorded an overall passing percentage of 88.18 per cent for Class 10. The passing percentage for boys was 85.25 per cent while for girls, it was 91.69 per cent.
Meanwhile, in 2021, the pass percentage was 99.53 per cent which was nearly 16 per cent higher than the previous year’s 83.31 per cent. Due to the pandemic, UP board exams were not conducted in 2021 and students were evaluated based on an alternative marking scheme. Class 10 students’ score were calculated based on their marks obtained in Class 9 (50 per cent) and pre-board examination (50 per cent).
In 2020, a total of 83.31 per cent of students cleared the class 10 exam successfully while in 2019, board had registered 80.07 passing percentage.
