The Uttar Pradesh Police has invited candidates for the position of constable to fill up around 34,716 vacancies. The recruitment is for 23,200 constable – CP (Male), 5716 constable – PAC (male) and 5800 constable – female.

Eligibility: The candidates should have passed class 12th from a recognised board. Also, their age should be between 18-22 years. But for SC/ST/OBC candidates, the age limit is 18-27 years.

The selection will be based on written test and physical efficiency test.

For men
Height– 168 cm. (160 cm only for ST candidates)
Weight– According to height but minimum 50 kg.
Chest– 79 cm. (77 cm only for ST candidates). 5 cm. Phulav Compulsory.

For women
Height– 152 cm. (147 cm only for ST candidates).
Weight– Min. 40 kg compulsory

Registration fees: The registration fees is Rs 200.

For men: The registration will start from Jan 18 and will end on Feb 22, 2016.

For women: The registration will start from Jan 25 and will end on Feb 29, 2016.
