The UP Board on Thursday denied the alleged Class 12 Biology and Mathematics question papers leaks on Whatsapp. UP Board secretary Dibyakant Shukla claimed as per reports, the question paper was distributed on a WhatsApp group named ‘All Principles Agra’ around 3:10 pm by a person named Vinay Choudhary.
“By then the examination had been conducted in 1 hour and 10 minutes and all the candidates were giving the examination peacefully in their rooms at their respective examination centres, due to which the sanctity of the council examinations has not been affected at any level,” Shukla said in a press note.
Shukla further said that if any school tries to breach confidentiality, the board will cancel the affiliation of that school immediately.
Both papers were conducted in the second shift on February 29.
As per the officials, the question paper was circulated by Vinay Choudhary with the aim of impersonating a particular person. An FIR has now been lodged against all participants of this “Taking cognizance of the case, District School Inspector Aera was directed to immediately register an FIR against Vinay Choudhary and other persons and an FIR has been lodged by the District School Inspector Agra against Vinay Choudhary and others,” Shukla clarified.
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also showed concern regarding the alleged paper leak. “Board examinations are the first challenges that children face when they learn to build their future. If such a big betrayal happens to them right here, what will they do next?,” she said in a tweet.
