UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 Results: UP Board of Secondary Education has declared the results of High School (class 10) and Intermediate examinations (class 12). As many as 87.66 per cent students in Class 10th passed while 87.99 per cent from Class 12 have cleared the UP Board examination 2016. Amarnath Verma, Director, Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education informed that Azamgarh district with 95.12 pass percentage has turned out to be best performing district, whereas Banda district in Bundelkhand with merely 70.84 pass percent is the lowest in the performance list. A total of 68,21,869 students, including 37,49,977 of High School and 30,71,892 of Intermediate, appeared for the exam. This includes 126 high school and 153 intermediate candidates who are lodged in different jails of the state. The UP class 10 and class 12 exams were conducted from February 18. While class 10 exam ended on March 9, class 12 exam was concluded on March 21. In fact, over 70 students and teachers were booked for cheating during Class 10 and 12 board exams in Mathura in western Uttar Pradesh.
