UGC NET June 2024: Admit cards out; websites to download hall ticket

UGC NET Admit Card 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the admit card of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024. The candidates who registered for the test can download the admit card from – ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The admit cards for August 21, 22 and 23 exams are released now.

The June session of UGC NET 2024 will be conducted between August 21 to September 4. The test will be conducted in the online Computer Based Test (CBT) format. Earlier, the test was conducted in pen and paper mode. The question paper will be in English and Hindi medium only except for the language papers.

The candidates will require their registration number along with date of birth to access the website to download admit cards. In case the candidates are unable to download the admit card they must reach the helpline of the NTA between 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

This admit card will contain candidate information like name, subjects they have applied for appearing, the exam centre and date of examination. It is the ticket to entry in the exam centre on the day of examination for the candidates.

The UGC NET covers 83 different subjects for the examination which include English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali Oriya, History, Chinese, French, Persian, Spanish, sociology, visual arts, labour welfare, library and information science, mass communication and journalism and much more.

The UGC NET is held two times every year in the months of June and December respectively. The objective for this exam is to check the eligibility of the Indian for the Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professor and also for the admissions to the PhD programmes offered in various institutions all around the country.
