TNPSC Group 2 Answer Key 2025: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) on October 7 released the suggested answers for the General Tamil/General English and General Knowledge sections of the preliminary examination for the Combined Civil Services Examination -II (Volume II and IIA Services). Candidates can check the answer keys at tnpsc.gov.in. The TNPSC 2025 group 2 exam was conducted on September 28. Candidates who wish to challenge any of the suggested answers can submit their appeals through the "Answer Key Challenge" window available on the Commission's official website. The deadline for submitting the appeals is 5:45 pm on October 14, 2025 (Tuesday). The Commission in a statement released in this regard said that grievances raised will only be accepted via the online portal. Submissions made through post or email will not be considered. Candidates are advised to carefully read the provided instructions on the Commission's website before submitting their challenges. TNPSC Combined Civil Services Exam: How to check the answer key Step 1: Visit the official website – tnpsc.gov.in Step 2: On the home page, click on the recruitment tab. A drop-down menu will appear. Step 3: Click on question papers, select the objective type (answer keys). Step 4: Select Combined Civil Services Exam 1 in group 1. Step 5: Click on the general studies paper. Step 6: Enter your credentials, such as registration number, application number, date of birth and select the question paper. Step 7: Submit and check the answer, and download it for future reference. In the TNPSC Group 2 Preliminary Examination, candidates are not subjected to negative marking, meaning incorrect answers do not result in penalties. Each accurate response carries a weightage of 1.5 marks toward the total score. Following the review of any legitimate objections raised by candidates, TNPSC will publish a final answer key. This finalised key will serve as the basis for computing official results, incorporating any amendments or clarifications made during the objection process. The TNPSC clarified that the preliminary examination serves only as a screening test, and marks secured in this stage will not be counted for the final merit list. The Group 2, 2A results are expected on December 2025, the Commission said.
