Over nine lakh students registered for the SSLC exams this year. Out of the 8,71,239 students who appeared, 8,17,261 passed the exam. Among them, 4,36,120 were boys and 4,35,119 were girls. Of those, 4,00,078 boys and 4,17,183 girls cleared the examination successfully. One transgender student also appeared and passed, recording a 100 per cent pass rate for that category.
