SSC MTS, Havaldar 2024 dates announced; exams from September 30

SSC Exam 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam dates for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) posts examination 2024. In a notification, the Commission announced that the SSC MTS exam will take place between September 30 and November 14. Also, the Commission asked candidates to check the official websites for regular updates on the examination.

The computer-based examination aims to fill a combined total of 9583 vacancies, comprising 6144 vacancies for MTS roles and 3439 for Havaldar positions. Meanwhile, the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 tier 1 examination will be held from September 9 to September 26.

The SSC CGL recruitment process is being conducted to fill around 17,727 vacancies across various departments. The application process for the test started on June 24 and ended on July 27. The application process included filling in the candidates details, uploading required documents, and payment of the application fees. Candidates had a choice to pay the application fee online or offline as per the convenience.

The candidates are also advised to keep checking the official SSC website — ssc.gov.in — for any new notifications, information and updates regarding the examination.
