SSC CGL 2024: Final vacancy out; preference cum submission window opens for tier 2 candidates

SSC CGL 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the window facility for candidates to fill out the option-cum-preference form for posts and departments for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 exam. Candidates who appeared for the SSC Tier 2 exam should complete the preference form on the official website at ssc.gov.in.

According to the official schedule, the deadline to submit the SSC Tier 2 option-cum-preference form is February 27 by 5 PM. Candidates must log in through the candidate login tab and select their preferred posts and departments under the “My Application” tab.

At the same, the Commission has also released the final vacancy for this recruitment drive. Candidates can check the final vacancy on the official website. According to the list, the recruitment aims to fill 18, 174 posts in various departments.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was held in a computer-based format from September 9 to September 26, 2024. The results for Tier 1 were announced on December 5, 2024, shortlisting candidates for the Tier 2 exam. This exam took place from January 18 to January 20, 2025, with an additional date on January 31, 2025.
