According to the official notification, the RRB NTPC admit cards, also referred to as e-call letters, are being issued four days prior to each exam date.
Once their respective RRB NTPC UG 2025 admit cards are released, candidates will be able to download them by visiting the official websites of their respective RRB regions. These include portals like rrbcdg.gov.in, rrbchennai.gov.in, rrbkolkata.gov.in, rrbahmedabad.gov.in, among others.

Indian Railways has notified a total of 3,445 vacancies for undergraduate-level positions under the RRB NTPC recruitment drive this year. These openings fall under CEN 06/2024 and include roles such as Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Trains Clerk, and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk.
Out of the total vacancies, 990 positions have been announced for Junior Clerk cum Typist, while 361 vacancies are available for Accounts Clerk cum Typist. In addition, there are 72 posts for Trains Clerk and 2,022 positions for Commercial cum Ticket Clerk.
–Computer based aptitude test is for candidates applying for station master (SM) posts. Candidates will have to qualify in each of the test batteries of CBAT for considering them for the post of SM. The CBAT will have questions and answer options only in English and Hindi. There shall be no negative marking in CBAT.
— Typing skill test for senior clerk cum typist, junior account assistant cum typist. The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on personal computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
— For goods train manager, senior commercial cum ticket supervisor, there shall be two stage CBTs followed by document verification and medical examination.

The CBT-1 exam will be conducted in a computer-based format and will feature 100 objective-type questions. Each question carries one mark, making the total score 100 marks. The duration of the test is 90 minutes.
The exam will include three key sections - General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The General Awareness section will have 40 questions, Mathematics will carry 30 questions, and the Reasoning section will also include 30 questions.
There is a provision for negative marking in the exam. For every incorrect answer, one-third of a mark will be deducted. The test is designed to evaluate a candidate’s overall aptitude, reasoning skills, and general knowledge relevant to the posts under the NTPC category.
