RRB ALP CBT 2 cancelled for day 1: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has canceled the Computer-Based Test (CBT) Stage 2 for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment exam. The exam, originally scheduled for March 19, will now be held at a later date. The decision was made due to technical issues that affected both Shift 1 and Shift 2 of the examination, on day 1.
In an official notice, the RRB confirmed that the exam will be rescheduled for the affected centers where it could not take place as planned. The recruitment board also stated that a new exam date will be announced soon. However, the exam schedule for day 2 of the exam will remain unchanged.
A total of 25,271 candidates had been shortlisted for the second stage of the RRB ALP exam. This recruitment drive aims to fill 18,799 vacancies for the ALP position. To access the RRB ALP CBT 2 admit card 2024, candidates must enter their registration number and date of birth as login credentials.
The Railway Recruitment Board ALP CBT 2 admit card contains crucial details, including the candidate’s name, roll number, registration number, photograph, and signature, exam centre name and address, exam date, shift, trade, reporting time, and session details. Candidates should ensure that the above details are mentioned on their admit cards. Additionally, it should also contain the signatures of the invigilator and examination authority.
Candidates must bring the following documents on the exam day. Failure to present these documents will result in disqualification.
To ensure a smooth examination process, candidates should adhere to these guidelines given on the RRB website:
— Arrive at the exam centre well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. Latecomers may not be allowed to enter.
— The admit card must be shown to officials at the examination center for entry.
— If required, affix a photograph in the designated space on the admit card. Candidates without a pasted photograph may be denied entry.
— The admit card must be retained for future reference, as it may be needed for document verification or skill tests.
— Candidates must remain in the exam hall until the test duration ends and submit their answer sheets before leaving.
— Carrying books, notes, electronic devices (mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, pagers, etc.) is strictly prohibited. If found with any such items, candidates may face disqualification. Confiscated mobile phones will not be returned.
— Where applicable, candidates must fill out and submit the attendance slip to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall. Failure to do so will be considered as absence from the test.
