(Express Photo/Tashi Tobgyal) The registration for nursery admission process at Delhi’s private schools will commence on November 23, a circular by the Directorate of Education (DoE) stated.
“In order to conduct the admission process smoothly at the Entry Level Classes (below six years of age) in Private Unaided Recognized Schools of Delhi the following admission schedule along with instructions is issued for conducting admissions for the Open Seats (other than EWS/DG /CWSN Category seats) for the academic session 2024-25,” the official circular stated.
A circular issued by the DoE Wednesday stated that the uploading the criteria and their points in the module of the
Department will be held on November 20, following which the application forms will be made available on November 23.
As per the schedule released by the Directorate of Education, the last date of submission of application forms in schools is December 15. The deadline for uploading details of children who applied to the school for admission under Open Seats is December 29.
The date for displaying the first list of selected children (including waiting list) (along with marks allotted under points system) is January 12, 2024. The second list of selected children will be released on January 29, 2024. The admission process will be concluded by March 8, 2024.
“As the school shall be uploading the criteria along with the related points for admission and would declare the first list of shortlisted candidates along with the points earned by them as per their criteria on 12.01.2024 (Friday), 10 days time from 13.01.2024 (Saturday) to 22.01.2024 (Monday) (Col. No. 7) is being kept for the schools to answer queries of parents regarding the points allotted to their ward on school’s criterion. Schools shall have a well documented mechanism of responding to parent’s queries, either through email or through letters maintain details in a register,” the official circular stated.
