The Rajasthan Board conducted the Class 8 exam from March 20 to April 2, 2025, across 9,824 designated centres statewide, ensuring tight supervision for transparency.

This year, 22,22,369 students have passed their RBSE Class 8 exam. The pass percentage is 96.66%.

The overall pass percentage in the previous year’s (2024) examination was 95.72%.

Compared to last year, there was a 0.94% increase in the pass percentage this year.

In the 2024 examination, the percentage of boys who passed was 95.13%.

The total number of boys who appeared was 6,65,562.

The total number of girls who appeared was 5,99,056.

The number of boys who passed was 6,39,840, which is 96.14%.

The total number of absent candidates was 41,368, which is 3.28%.

To pass the RBSE Class 8 board exams, students must score at least 33 per cent marks in each subject and in aggregate. If a student scores below 33 per cent in more than two subjects, they will be considered as failed and may need to repeat the academic year.

Last year, the overall pass percentage of RBSE Class 8 stood at 95.72 per cent. The RBSE results for the government school was 94.54 per cent, while for private schools it was 97.38 per cent.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) in 2024 announced the results for the Class 8 board examinations on May 17. In 2024, over 13 lakh students had registered for the exams, with 13,05,355 appearing and an impressive 12,33,702 successfully clearing the tests with a overall pass percentage of 95.72 per cent.
