Punjab Board PSEB Class 5th, 8th Results 2025 Date, Time: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will announce the results for Class 8 students on April 4. PSEB Class 8 exams were conducted between February 19 and March 7, 2025. Once the results are declared, students can access them on the official PSEB website at pseb.ac.in.

As per PSEB’s evaluation criteria, students must secure a minimum of 33% overall, combining theory and Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). However, they must also obtain at least 25% in the theory component of each subject.
For Class 8, students must appear for a total of nine subjects, out of which passing all subjects in Group A is mandatory. Similar to Class 5, students must score a minimum of 33% overall in theory, practical (where applicable), and CCE, with at least 25% in the theory portion of each subject. While students must take subjects from Group B, their marks and grades for these subjects will be reflected on their final certificate.
Based on past trends, the PSEB Class 5 results are likely to be released in the first week of April 2025, while the Class 8 results are expected by the end of April 2025. However, class 5 candidates must note that this year, the evaluation and publication of results will be done at the school level, by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Punjab. In 2024, the Class 5 results were released by the PSEB, on April 1, with a pass percentage of 99.8%. A total of 3,06,438 students appeared for the exam, including 1,44,653 girls and 1,61,767 boys.
For Class 8, results were declared on April 30, 2024, with an overall pass percentage of 98.31%. The pass rate among girls was 98.82%, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 97.84%.
