NVS Class 6th Admissions 2024: Application process commences, check how to apply

NVS Class 6 Admission 2024: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has started the registration for Class 6 admissions for the academic year 2024-25. Admission forms for the same can be filled at the official website of NVS — navodaya.gov.in.

The last date of registration is August 10. It is important to note that students are only allowed to appear for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) once. The candidature will be rejected if during verification it is found that the student has applied in previous years as well.

NVS Class 6 Admissions: Check how to apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of NVS — navodaya.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘NVS Class 6 registration link” on the homepage.

Step 3: Fill in all the required details such as Aadhaar card

Step 4: Save, submit and pay the fees

Step 5: Download and take a printout of the application form for future use.

The JNVST for admission to Class 6 in JNVs will be held in two phases— first on November 4 and second on January 20, both exams will begin from 11:30 am. The November 4 exam will be conducted in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, states of Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and districts Dibang Valley and Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti and Shimla districts of Himachal Pradesh, in the district of Darjeeling of West Bengal and Leh and Kargil districts of the Union Territory of Ladakh.

For the January 20 exam, the exam will be conducted in the state of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh (except Dibang Valley and Tawang districts), Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (except Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti and Shimla districts), Jammu and Kashmir (only for Jammu-I, Jammu-II, Samba and Udhampur) Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal (except Darjeeling), union territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Delhi, Lakshadweep and Pudducherry.
