The results for the first round of NEET UG 2024 counselling is announced today by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates who will be allotted a seat must report to their respective colleges between August 24 and August 29, 2024, for document verification and admission procedures. The candidates have to bring all required documents to ensure the verification process goes smoothly.
In case of discrepancy, the NEET candidates need to inform the MCC by August 24, 1 pm.
After the reporting phase, the data of the candidates who have joined will be verified by the respective institutes. The MCC will then share this data between August 30 and August 31, 2024. This step is important in finalising the admission process, ensuring that all seats are properly allocated. Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the official MCC website mcc.nic.in for updates and further instructions.
Step 1: Visit the official website at mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Navigate and click on the “UG Medical Counselling” section.
Step 3: Access the result link by finding and clicking on the “NEET UG 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Results” link.
Step 4: Enter credentials which is your NEET UG roll number, password, and security pin.
Step 5: View the result after submitting your details, download and print the result.
Step 6: Report to college if allotted, between August 24 and 29, 2024, with necessary documents.
Candidates should review the official information brochure provided by MCC, which details the steps to be followed after the result announcement. These include reporting to the allotted colleges with the necessary documents.
Documents Required for Verification:
Candidates must bring the following documents for the verification process:
–Allotment letter
–NEET UG admit card
–Date of birth certificate (if not included in the Metric Certificate).
–Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
— Passport-size photographs (same as affixed on the application form).
–Proof of identity (Aadhar/PAN/Driving Licence/Passport).
—Additional certificates if applicable (SC/ST Certificate, OBC-NCL Certificate, Disability Certificate ,EWS Certificate)
Candidates are advised to also check the specific requirements of the allotted college, as additional documents may be required.
If you were not allotted a seat in the first round or wish to upgrade your seat, the registration for round 2 of NEET UG 2024 counselling will begin on September 5 and will continue until September 10. Eligible candidates include those who did not get a seat in round 1, those who were allotted a seat but did not report, and those seeking an upgrade.
The MCC will conduct four rounds of counselling for NEET UG 2024, covering 15% of All India Quota seats, along with seats in central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, and other medical institutions across the country. This process is designed to ensure that all eligible candidates have the opportunity to secure a seat in a medical college.
