The National Board of Examination for Medical Science (NBEMS) releases the scorecard for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Post graduation (NEET PG) 2024 exam. The scorecards can be checked and downloaded from the official NBEMS websites – natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in.
The NEET PG was conducted on Sunday, August 11 in two shifts. The timings for the first shift were from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm while the second shift was held from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The board released the NEET PG result on August 23.
As per the official notice, the National Board of Examination for Medical Science said that it would release the NEET PG scorecard on or after August 30. The link for the scorecards is now activated on NBEMS official website – natboard.edu.in.
To check the scorecards, the candidates will need to visit the official website and locate the link for the result on the homepage. The new screen will ask for candidate credentials to login, fill the details and the scorecard will be displayed on the screen. The candidates must view and download the result for further use. They are also advised to the details printed on the scorecard like personal details, name, roll number, date of birth and more.
In the first shift, 1,07,959 students out of the 1,14,276 registered candidates attended the examination, with 6,317 candidates absent. While in the second shift, 1,08,177 out of 1,14,264 registered candidates attended the exam, and 6,087 students were absent.
To qualify for admission to MD, MS, DNB, or Diploma courses as per the NEET PG 2024 guidelines, different categories have specific cut-off percentiles. For candidates in the General and EWS categories, the minimum required score is the 50 percentile. Those in the General-PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) category need to achieve at least the 45 percentile. For candidates belonging to the SC, ST, or OBC categories, including those with disabilities in these categories, the cut-off is set at the 40 percentile. These cut-off percentiles will determine the eligibility for admission to medical courses.
