NBSE Class 12th Result 2024: The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) on Friday, April 26 announced the Class 10 HSLC and Class 12 HSSLC result 2024. The Nagaland board result link is available at the official websites– nbsenl.edu.in. The pass percentage in Class 10 NBSE exam is 71.87 per cent and in Class 12, it is 83.16 per cent in arts, 87.67 per cent in commerce and 80.88 per cent in science.
This year, Mhachilo Yanthan has topped the Class 10 NBSE exam by scoring 98.83 per cent marks followed by Ketsino Jane Frances in the second spot. The NBSE Class 10 third rank is shared by two students – Pabitra Deb and Amina Begum. They scored 98.50 per cent marks each.
In Class 12, Keletsole Mekro, Satyam Kumar Jaiswal and Narola Imsong have topped in arts, commerce and science respectively by scoring 97.40 per cent, 98.40 per cent and 96.20 per cent marks.
The rank and division of a successful candidate is decided on the basis of best five subjects which is subject to having passed the compulsory subjects, the board said while announcing the NBSE result. The toppers will also get NBSE awards and governor’s awards.
Two students of Class 12 have been expelled for using unfair means. They will be allowed to appear at the next HSSLC examination. For those students without internal marks, they will have to submit the same through the school last attended to sit for the next examination, the Nagaland board said.
The board conducted the class 10 exams from February 13 to February 23 in pen-paper mode. The Class 12 exams were conducted from February 12 to March 6.
The NBSE class 10 and class 12 board results are available on the websites — nbsenl.edu.in or indiaresults.com. Students can also check their board results through android mobile app – NBSE. For this, students need to first go to Google Play Store, type NBSE result app and download it. After the app is downloaded, students need to register themselves and fill the required details such as registration number and roll number to check the result.
This year in NBSE HLSC Class 10 board exam where nearly 22,000 students appeared across 95 examination centres across the state. NBSE HSSLC exam was held for around 17,911 students appearing from 68 examination centres across the state out of them 14,167 are from arts background, 2521 from science and and 949 are from commerce background.
The Nagaland board marksheet and marksheet cum pass certificate will have to be collected by the concerned centre
superintendents between May 3 and 6. Any mistakes in the Nagaland board Class 10 and Class 12 marksheet or marksheet cum pass certificate must be reported within 30 days after the publication of the result.
Candidates unsatisfied with the result can apply for rescrutiny can apply online at nbsenl.edu.in by May 11 by paying a fee of Rs 500 per subject. Rescrutiny results shall be declared within 40 days after the declaration of this result, the board said.
NBSE also has provided the students with the option of applying online for photocopies of answer sheets.
The Nagaland board will conduct the improvement and compartment exams in June 2024. Students can apply online from May 10 to 18 for the NBSE improvement and compartment exams Class 10 and Class 12.
Last year NBSE HSLC result was announced on May 24, 2023. Christy Paul Mathew of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur secured the first position with 99 per cent marks. Arti Kumari of Ram Janaki Higher Secondary School, Dimapur came second with 98.50 per cent and Sneha Das of Little Flower School, Chumukedima came third with 98.33 per cent. And in 2023 a total of 24,361 students appeared for the exam out of which 11,197 were boys and 13,164 were girls across 96 centres of the state.
