MPBSE MP Board 10th, 12th Supplementary Exam Dates 2025: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) declared the results for Class 10 and 12 board examinations today. In a press briefing, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav announced that Madhya Pradesh has become the third state in the country to introduce a two-exam system per year. Starting 2025, the MP Board will replace the traditional supplementary exam system with the newly launched ‘second chance examination.’

Students can now access their results on the official websites at mpresults.nic.in and mpbse.nic.in, by entering their roll number or name.
As per the official data shared during the press conference, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 stands at 76.22%, while Class 12 recorded a pass percentage of 74.48%.
The Second Chance Examination is a new initiative by MPBSE, replacing the earlier supplementary system. Students who failed or were absent in one or more subjects in the main exam are eligible to appear in this exam. Additionally, students who passed a subject but wish to improve their scores may also take this exam.
In cases where a student appears for both the main and the second chance exam, the better of the two scores will be considered final.
Yes; for subjects with a practical component, students will be allowed to reappear only for the portion they failed, either the practical or internal assessment. However, students cannot change their subjects for the second chance exam.
The application window for the Second Chance Examination will be open from May 7 to May 21, 2025, until midnight. Students can register through the MP Online Portal. Applications for re-evaluation or obtaining scanned answer sheets will also be available during this period via the same portal. Students must enter a valid email ID to receive scanned copies, which will be sent via email.
From May 6 to May 15, 2025, students can apply for rechecking or request photocopies of their answer sheets. The application process is available online and through the official MPBSE mobile app—’MPBSE’ on Google Play Store or ‘MPMOBILE’.
The Second Chance Examination for Class 10 students will be conducted between June 17 and June 26, 2025. For Class 12 students, the exam window extends until July 5, 2025, due to subject combinations and practical requirements.
Students taking the Second Chance Examination will not receive a marksheet for the main exam. However, they can download a certified digital copy via DigiLocker. Once the second exam results are declared, final marksheets will be issued.
