
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) conducted the second cluster of its Summer placement process for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) Class of 2027. Held in a hybrid format, the event saw participation from a diverse array of companies across seven key cohorts: Advertising and Media, Conglomerates, Consumer Goods, Consumer Services, Financial Platform and Services, Pharmaceuticals & Health Care, and Retail B2B & Retail E-commerce.
Over 60 distinct roles were offered by a large pool of recruiters. Leading the Conglomerates cohort was Mahindra and Mahindra, followed by TATA Administrative Services and Aditya Birla Group.
Other notable recruiters in the IIM A included Abhinandan Ventures, CK Birla Group, JSW, and Vedanta Limited.
In the Consumer Goods cohort, Procter & Gamble emerged as the top recruiter, with ITC Limited close behind. The cohort also featured prominent names such as AB InBev, Asian Paints, Coca-Cola Company, Dabur, Diageo India, Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Nestle, Purplle, United Breweries Limited, Wipro Consumer Care, and Zydus Wellness.
FinIQ Consulting led the Financial Platform & Services cohort, while Jiostar topped the Advertising and Media cohort. In the Retail B2B & Retail E-commerce space, Amazon and Flipkart were the leading recruiters.
The Pharmaceuticals & Health Care cohort demonstrated robust engagement, with active participation from Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited, Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd., and Optum.
Adding an international dimension to the cluster, Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. offered global opportunities to students. Several companies also made their debut in this year’s Summer Placement process, including Dainik Bhaskar (Advertising & Media), Haleon and Philip Morris International (Consumer Goods), Jiostar (Advertising & Media), Jupiter Money (Financial Platform & Services), and Medtronic India Pvt Ltd (Pharmaceuticals & Health Care).
The third cluster of the Summer Placement process is scheduled to take place on November 3, 2025.
