Maharashtra SSC, HSC Result 2024 Date: Result not today, here’s what we know

Once released, students can check the result at the official websites – mahresult.nic.in and hscresult.mkcl.org.

Maharashtra Board HSC 12th Result 2024: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will declare HSC 2024 board exams results this month, however the dates are not released by the board. Once released, students can check the result at the official websites – mahresult.nic.in and hscresult.mkcl.org.

Last year, the HSC results were declared on May 25 at 11 am while the Class 12 exam result link was made active at 2 pm. This year too, as per the sources, the Maharashtra HSC result will be declared in the third week of May and the SSC result, like last year, by the first week of June.

The overall pass percentage was recorded at 91.25 per cent. However, this was a drop from 2022’s 94.22 per cent. In 2021, the exams were cancelled due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Girls had performed better than boys by scoring 93.25 per cent while boys scored 89.14 per cent. A total of 7696 students had scored above 90 per cent, while 5,83,271 students were in the bracket of 45 per cent to 60 per cent. Konkan district had recorded the highest pass percentage with 96.01 per cent.

The total number of students who registered for the exam was 14,28,194, out of which, 14,16,371 appeared for the exam and 12,92,468 passed the exam. Out of the 12,92,468 students who cleared the exam, 6,84,118 were boys and 6,08,350 were girls.

Stream-wise, Science had a pass percentage of 96.09 per cent, Commerce had 90.42 per cent, Vocational stream had 89.25 per cent, and Arts had 84.05 per cent.

The state had also appointed 383 counsellors during the exams to counsel the students to deal with stress.
