LIC AAO Recruitment 2025: The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has issued its AAO and AE Recruitment 2025 notification, inviting applications for the posts of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) and Assistant Engineer (AE). A total of 841 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Interested candidates can apply online through the official LIC website at licindia.in.
The registration process began on August 16, 2025, and will continue until September 8, 2025.
The LIC AAO and AE Recruitment 2025 offers a total of 841 vacancies, including 81 posts for Assistant Engineers, 410 for Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Specialists, and 350 for AAO Generalists. Candidates interested in applying are advised to check the detailed notification for specific eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications and age limits, under the careers section of LIC.
The tentative schedule of events for the LIC recruitment process has been released. Candidates can download their call letters for the online examination approximately seven days before the exam date. The Preliminary Online Examination is scheduled to be held on October 3 (tentative), while the Main Online Examination is tentatively set for November 8.
The application fee is Rs 85 plus applicable transaction charges and GST for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, while all other applicants must pay Rs 700 plus transaction charges and GST. The selection process for AAO posts involves a three-stage procedure: Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and Interview, followed by a pre-recruitment medical test. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Exam will not be considered in the final merit list.
Only the marks secured in the Main Examination will be used to shortlist candidates for the interview round. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of the Main Examination and the Interview.
“The service conditions will be applicable as per the prevalent rules of LIC from time to time. The advertised posts are regular and selected candidates on appointment are liable to be posted or subsequently transferred anywhere in India, as per the requirement of the Corporation,” mentions the notification.
