KEA PGCET 2024: Fee payment deadline extends till June 24

Along with this, the Examination Authority has also asked students who applied for admission to MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, and MArch courses can edit the application form, pay the fees, and select the exam centre till June 24 up to 6 pm.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the fee payment deadline for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024 examination. Earlier the deadline was June 22 but now it is June 24. Candidates who have registered but could not complete the fee transaction can now do so by logging in to their account within the deadline using the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.

KEA PGCET 2024: How to pay fee

Step 1: Visit the official website — kea.kar.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “PGCET 2024 online application” link.

Step 3: Fill in the login details and your application form will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Pay the registration fee and submit the form.

Step 5: Save and download the registration form for the future.

Meanwhile, the Karnataka government has decided to increase the fees of engineering and architecture courses in private unaided educational institutions by 10 per cent for the 2024-2025 academic year.

State Higher Education Minister Dr M C Sudhakar, Medical Education Minister Dr Sharan Prakash Patil, representatives of private aided and unaided professional educational institutes and office bearers of the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA) arrived at a consensus on the fee hike on Friday.

The management of private professional colleges had demanded a 15 per cent increase in fees but later agreed to a 10 per cent hike.
