KSEAB Karnataka Board Class 10th Result 2024: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) on May 9 declared the class 10 result 2024. The scorecards will be available at the official websites — kseab.karnataka.gov.in/english or karresults.nic.in.

The pass percentage is 73.40% which is a drastic fall of 30% as compared to the previous year. About 78 schools across Karnataka record zero per cent results of which three are in Bengaluru.

The qualifying marks of the SSLC exam have been reduced from 35% to 25%. As a result of the low pass percentage the board has enhanced the normalisation by increasing the grade marks from 10% to 20%, resulting in a pass percentage of 73%.

The actual pass percentage is 54%. Over 2 lakh students who failed were given grace marks to increase the pass percentage to 73%.

“The reason for the decrease in pass percentage is due to webcasting which was introduced to reduce malpractice and ensure examination integrity,” said Ritesh Kumar Singh, principal secretary school education department.

Consolidated school result sheet and the provisional marks cards will be provided after 1 pm today through the school login of KSEAB website https://kseab.karnataka.gov.in. Provision is made to take print outs of the same at the school level. The examination results will be announced on the same day in the high schools.

This year, the SSLC exams were conducted from March 25 to April 6. The Karnataka SSLC exams were conducted at around 2,800 exam centres across the state.

Step 1- First visit the official websites – karresults.nic.in or sslc.karnataka.gov.in

Step 2- Click on the link for Karnataka SSLC Result 2024 on the homepage

Step 3- Then enter your details such as roll number

Step 4- The class 10 result 2024 will be displayed on the screen

Step 5- Download the KSEEB Result 2024 and take a printout for future reference.

The online Karnataka board Class 10 result 2024 is provisional in nature. Students can get the original marksheet from their schools. They should ensure the accuracy of their details given in the marksheet. The online result will consist: name, roll number, school name, subjects and there codes, marks obtained in theory and practical and pass or fail status.

Karnataka School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa announced that over 8.9 lakh students have registered for SSLC (class 10) examinations. Out of these, 4.5 lakh are male and 4.3 lakh are female students, as stated by the Karnataka school board.

Last year the overall pass percentage was recorded at 83.89 per cent, Girls outshined boys by securing 87.87 per cent whereas boys pass percentage recorded at 80.08 per cent.
