JoSAA Counselling 2023: Round 1 seat allotment list released

Only those students who have successfully cleared the JEE Mains 2023 and JEE Advanced 2023 exams are eligible for JoSAA counselling 2023.

JoSAA Counselling 2023: Round 1 seat allotment list released

JoSAA Counselling 2023 Seat Allotment Result: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) today released the seat allocation result for round 1. Students can check and download their seat allotment result from the official website of JoSAA website — josaa.nic.in.

Only those students who have successfully cleared the JEE Mains 2023 and JEE Advanced 2023 exams are eligible for JoSAA counselling 2023.

JoSAA Counselling 2023: How to check

Step 1: Visit the official website — josaa.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link which says ‘View Seat Allotment Result-Round 1’

Step 3: Enter your login credentials and submit

Step 4: The ‘JoSAA Seat Allotment Result-Round 1 2023’ will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download your round 1 seat allotment result for future reference.

After this, the candidates who are allotted a seat in round 1 allotment can report online for admission up to July 4 till 5 pm. The applicants will have to do the counselling fee payment and upload the required documents.

Round 2 seat allocation list will be declared on July 6 followed by the third and fourth rounds on July 12 and July 16 while the fifth and sixth round seat allotment lists will be declared on July 21 and July 26 respectively.

This year, the JEE Advanced results were announced on June 18 and the candidate registration or choice filling for academic programs under JoSAA started from June 19. The JoSAA counselling is conducted for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and various other institutes.
