JKBOSE Class 12th Result 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education declared the class 12 result 2024 on June 6. The result is available on the official websites — jkbose.nic.in
The JKBOSE Class 12 results can be checked by students on DigiLocker or they can key in their hall ticket number at the official website.
This year, the board conducted the Class 12 exams between February 9 and May 9 in a pen-paper mode. It is after a few days when the school authorities will ask students to collect their results. The one accessible online is provisional in nature.
Steps to download class 12 board result, visit the official website — jkbose.nic.in, on the homepage, click on the link that reads ‘Class 12 Result 2024’ link, a new window will open click on the ‘results’ tab, click on the link that reads ‘View Result of Higher Secondary (Class 12th)’, now, enter your roll number, and captcha and click on submit, and your results will be displayed. Save the result for future reference.
In 2023, a total of 1,27,636 students enrolled for Class 12 exams of which 82,441 passed recording a pass percentage of 65 per cent. Girls performed better with a pass percentage of 68 per cent while boys stood at 61 per cent. In the result, 27272 secured distinction, 36393 scored first division, 17734 recorded second division and 1042 got third division.
Students will also have the option to request photocopies of their answer booklets and OMR sheets. After the announcement of the results, students who fail to clear the exams will be able to appear for the compartment exams. Information about the compartmental exams will be announced soon.
Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education and is the main education board in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The J&K board is administered by the state government and has the primary role to conduct the Class 10 and Class 12 exams for all the affiliated schools in the state.
In 2021, Mohammed Saheem Mir of Kilhotran took first place in the Science stream with 99.2 per cent, Shabbu Kumari of Doda topped the class 12 Arts stream with 96.6 per cent, while Mahira Mushtaq of Nagseni Kishtwar topped the Commerce stream with 85.4 per cent.
