JEE Main 2025 January session exam dates out

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Exam Dates Announced: NTA has released the JEE Main exam dates. While paper 1 will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29 in two shifts (morning and afternoon), the paper 2 will be conducted only on January 30 (afternoon shift).

NTA JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on January 1 has announced the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main exam dates for 2025. JEE Main is held for two papers – paper 1 (BE/ BTech) and paper 2 (BArch/ BPharm). While paper 1 will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, the paper 2 will be conducted only on January 30.

The BE/ BTech paper will be held in two shifts – first shift will be held from 9 am 12 noon and the second shift between 3 pm and 6 pm. The paper 2A (BArch), paper 2B (BPlanning) and paper 2A and 2B (BArch and BPlanning both) will be held on the second shift between 3 pm on 6.30 pm.

Continuing similar trends, JEE Main this year, will also be held in two sessions. The first session will be held in January, while the next session will be conducted in April.

In 2024, JEE Main was held in January and April. The January session exam was held from January 24 to 31 and the April session exam was conducted between April 6 to 12. Last year, registration for JEE Main started on November 1 and continued for over a month. The city intimation slip was made available next.

Total number of candidates registered in the January 2024 (session 1) examination were 12,21,624, of which 11,70,048 candidates appeared and a total of 11,79,569 candidates registered in April 2024 (session 2) exam, out of which 10,67,959 candidates appeared for the exams. The total number of registrations went up from 10.26 lakh in 2022 to 11.62 lakh in 2023.
