JEE Main: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore is one of the 23 IITs in the country. The institute, established in 2009, has a total of 2,207 students and 194 faculty staff members. Within 14 years of its inception, the institute was able to secure a rank at the global and national level. At the global level, it has ranked in the QS World University Rankings, QS Asia University Rankings as well as THE World Ranking. However, the ranking of the institute has deteriorated across all global platforms. In the QS World University Rankings, IIT Indore ranking fell from 396th in 2023 to 454th spot in 2024. Similarly, in QS Asia University Rankings, it fell from 178 to 185 and in THE World Ranking it fell from 401 to 500 band to 601 to 800 band. There are four subjects for five year BTech + MTech dual degree course, six disciplines for MS (Research) and 19 for PhD.
