JEE Main 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on April 1, released the admit cards for Joint Entrance Examination, Main (JEE Main) 2024, which can be downloaded from the official website — jeemain.nta.ac.in.
This year, the NTA has revised JEE Main session 2 (April) exam dates three times. In the beginning, when NTA released the calendar in 2023, the April session exams were scheduled to be held between April 1 and 15. However, the dates were revised to April 4 to 15 in February first week.
The JEE Main session 2 exam dates were once again revised when the city slip was released in March. Now, the exam will be held from April 4 to April 12. As per the latest and final exam schedule, Paper 1 (BE/ BTech) will be held on April 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9. Paper 2 will be conducted on April 12.
Paper 1 will be held in two shifts — the first shift will be conducted from 9 to 12 pm and the second shift will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. Paper 2 will be conducted from 9 am till 12:30 pm.
Meanwhile, NTA has released the JEE Main hall tickets only for candidates whose exams are scheduled on April 4, 5 and 6. The admit cards for the remaining dates will be issued three days prior to the exam. The advanced city intimation slips have been released for all students.
Candidates should remember that they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without producing the hall ticket first, along with a government-issued photo identity card.
