IIT Madras JEE Advanced Result 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) today released the JEE Advanced 2024 result. The scorecards are now visible on the official websitejeeadv.ac.in.

This year’s topper is Ved Lohati who scored 355 marks.

Candidates will have to key in their details such as roll number to check their JEE Advanced result. The aggregate marks will be calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Candidates have to satisfy the subject-wise as well as the aggregate qualifying marks to be included in a rank list.

Of the total 1,80,200 candidates appearing in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE Advanced 2024, as many as 48,248 candidates have qualified.

 JEE Advanced Result: When and where to check

JEE Advanced 2024 result will be announced at 10 am today, June 9. In addition to the result, IIT Madras will also release the final JEE Advanced 2024 answer key. This year, the examination was conducted on May 26, 2024. The Paper 1 of the examination was held from 9 am to 12 and Paper 2 was scheduled from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm on the same day.

After visiting the official website of JEE Advanced 2024, students need to enter your 7-digit roll number, date of birth, and registered mobile number, and click on the ‘Submit’ button. Then JEE Advanced 2024 results will be displayed on the screen. Students are advised to download, save and take printouts for future use.

Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates will be available through the official online portal after the results are declared. Text messages will also be sent to the candidates to their registered mobile numbers. However, individual rank cards will not be sent to candidates.

Qualifying in the exam, filling in choices and/or participating in the joint seat allocation process do not guarantee a candidate admission to IITs. Admission will depend on merit and the availability of seats during
various rounds of seat allocation, an official statement clarified.

Last year out of the total 2,50,255 eligible candidates from JEE Main, 1,89,487 candidates registered for JEE Advanced 2023, and 1,80,372 candidates appeared for both the papers. A total of 43,769 candidates qualified.
