India Post has released the merit list for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) recruitment 2024, covering 12 postal circles, including Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. Candidates who applied for the GDS positions can check their results on the official India Post GDS portal at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

The merit list is based on the marks obtained in the 10th standard, and candidates who are shortlisted will proceed to the document verification stage. This verification is for confirming their selection for the positions. The recruitment drive aims to fill 44,228 vacancies across 23 postal circles in India, and further merit lists may be released as the process continues.

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the merit list must prepare for the next step: document verification. Candidates who do not find their names in the current merit list should stay vigilant for further lists that may be released based on the availability of seats.
