IIT Kanpur releases JEE Advanced 2025 scorecards at jeeadv.ac.in

This year, the All India Rank (AIR) 1 was bagged by Rajit Gupta (IIT Delhi zone), who scored 332/360. Devdutta Majhi emerged as the top female scorer.

The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur on July 17 released the JEE Advanced 2025 scorecards on the official candidate portal of jeeadv.ac.in. The candidates can access the scorecard using their login credentials. The scorecards include detailed subject-wise marks, total scores out of 360, qualifying status, and category-wise.

Step 1: Visit the official portal, log in with your roll number or registration number, date of birth, and mobile number.

On Wednesday, JoSAA round 6 allotment has been announced. Candidates who have been allotted a seat for the first time in Round 6, have to upload and submit all the necessary documents and pay the fee by 5 pm on July 20, 2025 (Sunday).

The maximum aggregate score in JEE Advanced is 360 marks, with 180 marks each in Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each subject—Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry—carries a total of 120 marks, split equally between the two papers (60 marks per paper per subject). To be considered for a rank, candidates must meet the qualifying marks in each subject as well as the overall aggregate.

Maximum aggregate marks: 360 (180 in Paper 1 + 180 in Paper 2)

Mathematics: 120 (60 in Paper 1 + 60 in Paper 2)

Physics: 120 (60 in Paper 1 + 60 in Paper 2)

Chemistry: 120 (60 in Paper 1 + 60 in Paper 2).

JEE Main is held twice a year (January and April) in online mode, and students can appear in either or both sessions. The best score out of the two is considered for admissions and for eligibility to JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced is held in May and the result is announced in June. The exam is held for admission in IITs and IISC. Over 2 lakh students appear for the exam every year.
