IIT Guwahati, E&ICT Academy launch Data Analytics and Generative AI programme

The programme is designed to accommodate candidates with diverse educational backgrounds and equip them with data analytics and generative AI skills.

The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT G) and E&ICT Academy have launched new professional certificate programmes in Data Analytics and Generative AI in collaboration with Simplilearn. The programmes will be available online. Interested students can apply for the new certificate programmes at the official website – simplilearn.com by July 21.

The course is designed to meet the increasing demands for skilled professionals in data analytics and other technology and the admission fee for the IIT Guwahati and E&ICT Academy, Generative AI for Data Analytics program is Rs 1,19,900 (including taxes and all applicable programme charges).

The candidate will be facilitated with live online classes by industry experts and interactive masterclasses from IIT Guwahati faculty and IBM experts, more than 25 hands-on projects, IIT Guwahati campus immersion, hackathons, and ask me anything sessions hosted by IBM. Furthermore, the programme will cover concepts such as excel, SQL, programming fundamentals, mathematical and statistical computing, data visualization with Tableau, generative AI, prompt engineering and many others.

Additionally, the candidate will also earn the executive alumina status of IIT Guwahati and E&ICT and access to JobAssist service provided by Simplilearn.

Eligibility for Data Analytics and Generative AI

– The applicants must have a bachelor’s certificate

– A minimum 50 per cent score in their graduation bachelor scorecard

– Prior work experience is not mandatory, however encouraged
