IIM Calcutta, Emeritus launch advanced programme in Supply Chain Management

The programme is designed to combine live online sessions led by renowned IIM Calcutta faculty with case-based learning, simulations, and a faculty-guided capstone project. It will address critical themes such as global supply disruptions, risk mitigation, and the shift toward digital supply networks.

IIM Calcutta, Emeritus has launched an Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Managment.

IIM Calcutta and ed-tech company Emeritus have jointly launched a 12-month Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Management. The course will focus on training individuals with advanced supply chain strategies, cross-functional leadership roles, and the ability to drive end-to-end profitability through automation, and in-class practices.

The programme will be held online from June 29, 2025. Any graduate/diploma holder or postgraduate with more than three years of work experience in supply chain management are eligible to apply. The participants will have to pay Rs 4.60 lakh (including GST).

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive a certificate from IIM Calcutta and an opportunity to gain the IIM Calcutta Executive Alumni status.

The programme could be ideal for mid to senior-level professionals working across purchasing, production, inventory, logistics, and supply chain functions, or those operating in service or manufacturing sectors, who are interested to learn insights and industry-related techniques to advance the evolving landscape of supply chain management.

Under the programme, participants will be able to:

Cultivate advanced strategic thinking skills in supply chain management and logistics to effectively analyse and optimise intricate global supply networks
Attain proficiency in leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies to enhance supply chain efficiency and supply chain transformation

Design and implement collaborative supply chain and sourcing strategies to cultivate closer partnerships, promote information sharing, and optimise coordination

The programme aims to cover the full spectrum of supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and sales and distribution planning. It will enable individuals to mitigate risks, respond effectively to disruptions, and uncover new opportunities for efficiency and growth.
