The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date to apply for fresh admission and re-registration for all the courses offered under the online and ODL mode for the July 2024 session. According to the notification, the new deadline is July 31.
Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website and register themselves for new ODL and online mode courses of IGNOU at the official website –ignou.ac.in.
Before preceding the fresh admission application candidates must have the following documents —
– Scanned passport size photograph
– Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)
– Scanned documents of required educational qualification
– Scanned copy of experience certificate, not mandatory
– Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if applicable such as SC, ST, OBC
Candidates must note that the size of their photograph and signature documents must be less than 100 KB, While the other mentioned documents must not exceed more than 200 KB. The IGNOU official website, also states that the scanned file must be from the original documents.
For fee payment, candidates must make use of credit card, debit card and online payment methods. Students must save their application and successful fee payment screenshots for further reference. If a candidate requests for cancellation of their enrollment in programmes after 60 days of closing of the admission portal, the fee will not refunded.
In an earlier notice, the varsity cautioned students and said, “In case online payment made by you does not get updated, please do not make the second payment immediately. Please wait for a day, check the payment status and then decide”.
