IGNOU extends last dates for July 2024 fresh admission, re-registration till September 20

The extension for the fresh admission in IGNOU is done in respect of all programmes offered in the online distance learning and online mode for July 2024 session, except for semester and certificate programmes.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the July 2024 fresh admission dates and re-registration for all programmes till September 20. Students can visit the official website, onlinerr.ignou.ac.in and fill out the application form.

“The last date of July, 2024 Re-registration has also been approved till 20 September 2024, with late fee of Rs 200/- for all programmes (except semester-based programmes) offered in ODL/Online mode.” read IGNOU’s post on the microblogging site, X.

Further, the extension for the fresh admission is done in respect of all programmes offered in online distance learning and online mode for the July 2024 session, except for semester and certificate programmes.

This is the second re-extension done by the University. Earlier, the last date was September 10. For fresh admissions, students interested in enrolling in undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programmes can apply through the designated ODL and online portals. For re-registration, the existing students who need to re-register for the next semester or academic year can do so through the re-registration portal.

IGNOU 2024 Admission: Documents required to apply

Before preceding the fresh admission application candidates must have the following documents —

– Scanned passport size photograph

– Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)

– Scanned documents of required educational qualification

– Scanned copy of experience certificate, not mandatory

Meanwhile, the open university has released the Term-End Examination (TEE) 2024 exam form for the December session. Candidates who match the eligibility criterai can register for the IGNOU TEE December 2024 examination form for online and open distance learning programmes on the official website — exam.ignou.ac.in. Candidates can fill out the exam form by October 15 without a late fee.
