ICAI CA exam postponed in view of Assembly Elections in MP and Chhattisgarh (Express photo/ File) The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed the Chartered Accountant (CA) November 2023 exams in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. The postponement of the ICAI CA November 2023 exam comes in view of the legislative assembly elections in these states. The exams slated to be held on November 7 and November 17 in some specific exam centres in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh will now be held on November 19.
While announcing the exam postponement, the ICAI also said that the CA admit cards issued for the November 7 and November 17 exams would remain valid.
The ICAI CA final, group I, paper 4 (Corporate and Economic Laws) paper set to be held on November 7 in Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon has been postponed to November 19.
The Intermediate group II, paper 8 (Financial Management and Economics for Finance) was earlier scheduled to be held on November 17. Now the ICAI has rescheduled this exam for only those students who were appearing from Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur, Durg, Raigarh and Raipur, and MP’s Bhopal, Burhanpur, Chhindwara, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, Katni, Khandwa, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ratlam, Rewa, Sagar, Satna and Ujjain considering the elections.

ICAI also said that there will be no change in any other dates except November 7 and November 17 exams.
“It is clarified that the schedule of examinations notified vide Important Announcement No. 13-
CA (EXAM)/NOVEMBER – DECEMBER/2023 dated 5th July 2023 shall remain unchanged except above. In
other words, there will be no change in the schedule of examinations for other States / Cities and Dates,” it added.
