ICAI CA January 2026 Exam Schedule: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on September 23 announced the datesheet for the CA January 2026 exam. The ICAI CA January 2026 exam dates are announced for the Foundation, Intermediate and Final exams.
All candidates appearing for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Examinations in January 2026 will have to submit their applications online through the Self Service Portal (SSP) at eservices.icai.org and pay the applicable examination fee. The online examination application forms will be available for submission from November 3. The last date for submission of online examination application forms without late fee is November 16.
The ICAI CA Foundation exams are set to be held on January 18, 20, 22 and 24, 2026. The paper 1 and paper 2 of the ICAI CA Foundation exam are set to be conducted for three hours’ duration and paper 3 and paper 4 will be held for two hours. There will not be any advance reading time in paper 3 and paper 4 of ICAI CA foundation.
The CA intermediate Group 1 exams will be held on January 6, 8 and 10 and the ICAI CA Group 2 exams will be held on January 12, 15 and 17.
The CA Final exams will be held over six days. While Group 1 exams will be held on January 5, 7 and 9, Group 2 will be held on January 11, 13 and 16.
No examination is scheduled on January 14 on account of Makar Sankranti, Magh Bihu and Pongal festivals across India, ICAI said.
The Institute has also announced the exam dates for the members. The International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT–AT) will be held on January 13 and 16, while the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination for Modules I to IV is scheduled on January 9, 11, 13 and 16.
The January 2026 ICAI CA examinations will also be held at nine overseas examination cities, in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimphu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, Muscat and Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
Candidates of the CA Foundation, Intermediate and Final examinations will be allowed to opt for English or Hindi medium for answering papers. However, the medium of Examinations will be only English in respect of Post Qualification Course — International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) and Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination.
