CA Inter, Final Result 2024: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the results of the CA Inter and final examination 2024. Candidates can now check and download their results from the official websites — icai.nic.in or icaiexam.icai.org.
New Delhi’s Shivam Mishra tops the CA final exam scoring 83.33% (500 marks). At the second position is Varsha Arora with 480 marks while AIR 3 is jointly shared by Mumbai’s Kiran Manral and Ghilman Saalim Ansari.
In the CA Inter exams, Bhiwadi’s Kushagra Roy is all India rank (AIR) 1 with 89.67 per cent while the second position is shared by Yuj Sachin Kariya and Yogya Lalit Chandak scoring 89.67 per cent. The third rank is bagged by Manjit Singh Bhatia and Hiresh Kashiramka with 86.50%.
In Group I, 74887 final year exam candidates appeared of which 20479 passed taking the pass percentage at 27.35% while in Group II, 58891 students appeared of which 21408 qualified the exam. The pass percentage is 36.35%. In both groups, 35819 candidates sat of which only 7122 passed scoring overall 19.88%.
Of the 1,17,764 candidates appearing in the CA group 1 inter exam, as many as 31,978 (27.15 per cent) have qualified. In CA Inter group 2, a total of 71,145 candidates appeared for the exam and of them, 13,008 passed (18.28 per cent). As many as 59,956 candidates appeared for both groups and only 11,041 (18.42 per cent) passed.
A total of 20,446 candidates qualify as CAs in the May 2024 ICAI exam.
To check the result candidates have to visit the official website- icai.nic.in. and tap on the result link shown on the homepage followed by entering your credentials such as roll number and registration number. After the result of the ICAI CA inter, and the final 2024 will appear on the screen. Candidates must save and download the result. Candidates should also take a printout for future use. Along with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India CA result, the institute will also release the merit list.
The exam is conducted in three different levels according to the course and in order to be certified as a Chartered Accountant, candidates have to clear all the course levels. The three levels are – the CA Foundation course examination (four papers), the CA Intermediate examination (eight papers based on New Syllabus and eight papers based on Old Syllabus), CA Final examination (eight papers based on New Syllabus and 8 papers based on Old Syllabus).
