DU announces mop-up round for UG admission, registration begins

DU UG Admission 2024: The University of Delhi (DU) has announced that it will hold a mop-up round against undergraduate (UG) admission to admit candidates in some colleges and programmes only. The university displayed vacant seats in the shortlisted colleges and programmes on September 27 (5 pm). The admissions.uod.ac.in will make the vacant seats list available.

While the registration for the DU UG mop-up round admission began on September 27 at 5 pm and will continue till September 29 (11.59 pm), candidates will be able to apply to colleges and programmes between September 30 (5 pm) and October 2 (11.59 pm). The colleges will select and grant admissions against the DU UG mop-up round between October 3 (2 pm) and October 5 (5 pm). The last date to pay the admission fee for DU admission is October 6 (5 pm).

DU UG 2024 Mop-up Round Admission: Who can register, eligibility

– Admission in the mop-up round will be done on the basis of merit score of the qualifying examination, based on the programme-specific eligibility

– Candidates who are not admitted to any programme of any college of DU and wish to take admission in the shortlisted colleges and programme in the mop-up admission round must register at the mop-up admission portal – ugadmission.uod.ac.in/mopup/index.php

– Candidates who had already registered on the CSAS UG 2024 portal will not have to pay any registration fee. However for fresh candidates, it is Rs 250 for the unreserved, OBC-NCL and EWS candidates and Rs 100 for SC, ST and PwBD.

The CSAS 2024 platform will be suspended during the mop up round. While registering on the DU UG mop-up admission portal, the candidates must ensure their documents are updated and valid. The colleges may ask for all relevant documents, as deemed appropriate from the candidates at the time of admission.
