COMEDK Result 2024 Updates: UGET counselling process starts, important instructions for students

1. No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50 per cent. aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also at least 50 per cent. marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate”.
2. The Candidate has to qualify an Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e. JEE) or NATA conducted by the Council for admission to the Architecture degree course” and there is no separate entrance test conducted by COMEDK for admission to Architecture course.

In case of issues of payment for UGET counselling process, students have to re-initiate the transaction process until the status of the payment is seen succesfull. 

All the docuemnts to be uploaded during the counselling process must be less than 1 MB. It is also important for candidates to upload clear, valid and original doucments. 

The seat selection process involves three rounds of counseling. Candidates will have to login to their applicant login available at the comedk.org to check the COMEDK counseling 2024 status and visit the official website frequently for all updates.

Payments can be made only by online method through:
a) Credit card
b) Debit card
c) Net-Banking

The candidates are required to refer to the COMEDK’s official website comedk.org only for all updates. 

The candidates interested in participating the counseling are advised to get these documents scanned and upload the same after registering for counseling besides mobilizing the funds required for payment after allotment of seats. 

The tuition fee along with the “Other fees” will be collected by COMEDK during the counseling. There is a cap on the skill lab fees that will be collected by individual colleges apart from the University fees.

The tuition fee and other fees etc. for the academic year 2024-25 is yet to be decided. As and when the same is decided, it will be updated on the COMEDK website. However, for the information of the candidates, the two types of upper limit of tuition fee for the previous year (i.e. 2023-24) is provided hereunder:

Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Standard examination with English as one of the Languages and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science (40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State only). Relaxation in minimum academic eligibility (i.e. 45% to 40%) is applicable only to Karnataka Candidates

The registration fee for UGTE 2024 is Rs 2000 and is non-refundable.

There is no seat reservation in COMEDK for SC/ST/OBC as the State Government has taken the responsibility to identify and provide reservation to these candidates within the seats transferred to the Government

Candidates will get one mark for every correct answer in the COMEDK 2024 paper. As per the COMEDK exam pattern, no marks will be deducted for wrong answer. However, in the event of a tie in the test score the principle of least negative responses (number of wrong answers) will be adopted, the Consortium said. In addition, if required, other methods may be adopted to break ties, it added.

COMEDK UGET Result 2024 will now be available on the official website at 3 PM.

Candidates claiming KKR seat need to upload KKR (HK region) certificate and Karnataka Domicile Certificate

Candidates of Karnataka who have obtained between 40 % to 45% aggregate marks in their qualifying exam only need to upload SC/ST/OBC certificate and Karnataka Domicile certificate to claim lower eligibility. SC/ST/OBC is only to get lower eligibility of 40% to 45%.
