COMEDK 2024 Round 1 Counselling: The last date for round 1 counselling of COMEDK 2024 decision-making, fee payment and allotment result has been extended. The round 1 allotment results will now be declared by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) on July 21. The qualified aspirants can pay the admission fee from the official website – comedk.org.
Along with this, the deadline for seat cancellation and reporting to the allotted institutions has been also extended. Candidates now have the time till July 22 to report to the allotted institutions or to cancel their seats. The candidates with the accept and freeze option should therefore report to college on the date and time according to the schedule. Failure to this may lead to loss of the allotted seat.
Candidates with allotted seats have the option to accept and freeze the seat, accept and upgrade to a higher preference, reject and upgrade to a higher preference, or reject and withdraw from the process.
The candidates who have accepted the seat in round 1 or round 2 and wish to cancel their seat can cancel their seats within the allotted time as specified by the official schedule of the institute. Doing this, will make the candidate ineligible for the subsequent rounds and their participation will be cancelled.
The deadline for seat cancellation of accept, freeze and accept and upgrade seats of round 1 is before the start of round 3. Candidates need to cancel the seat between the cancellation period of Round 1 or round 2 whereas for cancellation of accept, freeze and accept and upgrade seats for round 2 candidates is only the time between the seat cancellation period of round 2.
There will be no cancellation of seats for the allotted seats of round 3. The candidates must join the college allotted.
