Sanath Koundilia from Bengaluru knew he would score well but didn’t know he would top the region. Sanath secured 100 per cent marks in Maths, Science IT and Sanskrit followed by 99 in English and 98 in Social Science in Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 exams, result of which was released on May 12.
Koundilia believes he didn’t go overboard with his preparation but felt the exams were easy. He feels that though the questions were from easy to moderate level, Science paper had questions from the Class 11 level— there were questions based on Redox reactions and Mathematics paper was tougher than pre-boards.
