CBSE Board Exam Results 2023: Classes 10th, 12th results declared at cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbseresults.gov.in

The CBSE class 10 exams were held from February 15 till March 21 and the exams were conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. 21.87 lakh students registered for the CBSE class 10 exams in 2023.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared class 12 results on May 12. This year, the overall pass percentage for Class 12 is 87.33 per cent, which is a dip from last year’s performance but has increased from the pre-pandemic years. The CBSE result for Class 10 will be released this week.

The students can check their results at cbse.gov.in, results.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, umang.gov.in by entering their name and roll number.

An earlier version of this report had said that results will be announced on May 11, but the official date is yet to be announced.  A senior official from CBSE has confirmed to indianexpress.com that the notice is fake which has been going viral on several platforms. We regret the error.

In 2022, nearly 20 lakh students had appeared for the class 10 board exams. For 2022, the CBSE Board Class 10 Exam 2022 was held in bifurcated format meaning Term 1 exam in Nov-Dec and Term 2 Exam in May-June. The board declared the result only after consolidating the marks for both the terms. 

In 2022, the overall pass percentage was 94.40 per cent in comparison to 91.46% in 2020 and 91.10% in 2019.

In 2021, CBSE class 10 results were compiled on the basis of alternative assessment and the pass percentage for the same stood at 99.04 per cent.
